Sven Klein

Sven H. Klein is a serial entrepreneur with 20 years of business experience in various industries ranging from internet marketing to alternative asset management strategies.

 Currently, Sven Klein is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Scalable Commerce, LLC. Scalable Commerce is a Santa Barbara, CA based provider of online marketing services. Prior to founding Scalable Commerce, LLC Sven Klein was a founder and President of Cresta Life Settlements, LLC. Cresta Life Settlements, LLC is a direct-to-consumer (DTC) Life Settlement brokerage company specializing in the sale of life insurance policies for America’s growing senior population. Prior to his involvement in the life settlement industry, Sven Klein founded and is the Managing Member of Cristoria Insurance Services LLC. Cristoria is a national leader in the custom structuring of Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) and Private Placement Variable Annuity (PPVA) offerings. Cristoria focuses on ultra-high-net worth individuals and requires a minimum investment of $10 million. Prior to Cristoria’s formation, Sven Klein was responsible for the general management and served on the investment committee of a private investment partnership located in Santa Barbara, California. Prior to that, Sven Klein managed equity trading portfolios at First New York Securities, LLC. Preceding First New York Securities, LLC, Mr. Klein was a co-founder of Bargain Network, Inc. Bargain Network Inc. was purchased by Vertrue Inc, (NASDAQ: VTRU) in November of 2004.  Sven Klein has held the Series 7, 55 and 63 Securities licenses. Sven Klein has also been a licensed life insurance agent in California, Connecticut, South Dakota, Illinois, Florida, Oklahoma and New York. Sven Klein has lived in Santa Barbara since 1985. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Business Economics. While at UCSB he was president of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity (1993-1994). He was born and raised in Germany and speaks fluent German. He enjoys competing in triathlons, open-water swimming, golf, tennis, scuba diving, snow/water skiing, theater and traveling.
